When you get a taster of a new blend from a very excited barista, that's when you know you're in the right place. A house of true coffee lovers. The interior is modest, modern and has everything you need. The big window connects the interior with the lively city life. The take away beans we're sold out for the day which is usually a good sign. Staff is amazing and super friendly, even when you walk in with your backpack and hiking gear looking for a caffeine hit. Nice buzz inside, polite barista. Coffee was really enjoyable, smooth with hints of chocolate. Please get some loyalty cards. Even if I have to buy 15 coffees before a free one, everyone loves a stamp 3.60 for the flat white, standard around Manchester.
I’ve just experienced the best flat white in Manchester. I took a sip and immediately turned back around to go back to the shop to let them know how amazing it was. The milk was perfect, smooth, creamy and just the right temperature, the coffee had amazing notes coming through and this was 1 minute before closing which means if you’re the first or last customer of the day you get amazing quality and service. I was both served and had my coffee made by Dora who was so lovely
I was just on my way to another coffee shop when this place caught my eye. You know that feeling when your coffee instinct kicks in? I had to stop. Even though they were closing in 15 minutes, I walked in and ordered a pour over. The barista was super friendly and recommended the Cherry Liquor when I said I wanted something fruity. And honestly? Even in a takeaway cup, it was one of the best coffees I’ve had this year. If you love coffee, don’t miss this place. It’s absolutely worth it.
Outstanding coffee and flavours! Sampled all of the pour overs while in town for the weekend and each was so lovely and layered. Also sampled an espresso that really surprised me, it was packed with delicious flavour that I’ve never sampled before in an espresso. This establishment knows what they are doing, if you want a quality coffee this is it.

I recently tried their A Loumi sandwich, and I can honestly say it's the best sandwich I've ever had in my life! It's a vegetarian delight—absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and massive in size, so you really get your money's worth But what really sets Fort Coffee apart is the customer service. The staff are incredibly friendly, always welcoming, and they even remember customers by name, which makes the experience feel so personal. You can tell they genuinely enjoy working here, and that positivity really adds to the atmosphere. It's refreshing to walk into a place where the people clearly love what they do, and it makes you want to keep coming back Highly recommend stopping by—whether for the food or the wonderful vibe, you won’t be disappointed!
Great customer service, even better coffee. Very busy so it's chance if you're to find a seat but it's a great place to grab on the go. Could probably avoid taking so many orders at one time so there isn't a mass amount of people stood around the tables where people are sat and getting in the way of staff etc. Would happily go back again on a quieter day.
